Alcona Elementary School is excited to introduce our newest staff member! Blaze, the second-grade therapy cat, started his first day of school last week in Ms. Misiak’s classroom. He was adopted from Joyful Ragdolls of Michigan located in Lapeer. Ragdolls make the perfect therapy cat because they go limp or flop when picked-up. He spent his first day meeting students and visiting a variety of classrooms. Blaze is sponsored by Rebecca Joy Tietz and all other expenses are sponsored by Ms. Misiak. Welcome to ACS, Blaze! #AlconaSchools #Welcome #TherapyCat
