Reminder: Students that need to carry emergency medications must have form 5330 F1c completed and filed with the school. Other medications that students need to take at school must be given to the office/nurse and form 5330 F1a (middle/high school) or 5330 F1b (elementary school) must be completed. Please turn forms into the office. All medications brought to the school must be transported by a parent/guardian.

March is Reading Month is well underway! This week Alcona Middle School and High School students visited the elementary to read their favorite children's books.
Alcona's National Honor Society hosted another Coffee for Veterans event in March.
We were honored to have WWII vet David Samuel at our event. Mr. Samuel will turn 100-years-old in May!
Our next coffee hour will be Sunday, April 6th, from 2 to 4 pm in the high school auditorium lobby.
We are encouraging all veterans to come and share a story, artifact, or photo with us. Please share with friends, family, and neighbors.

We are continuing to celebrate March is Reading Month at the elementary. Tomorrow, Wednesday March 12th, is the day to show you are "Wild About Reading" by wearing a shirt with an animal or animal print.
The Alcona Track Program is running an X-Grain Gear Store again this year. The store is open now until Sunday March 23. All items will be delivered to the school and then delivered to you. This is not mandatory just a way to get some cool gear. Not all items are track specific so Alcona Fans take a look!
