Both middle school girls basketball teams added victories to their record tonight against Whittemore Prescott. 7th grade won 32-10 and 8th grade won 37-19. Awesome job lady tigers!
If you are traveling to Clare to see the Marching Band's performance today, please bring $5 for admission ($3 for student, $10 for family). Alcona starts the show at 5:30 pm. The bus is leaving at 2:00 pm if you would still like to chaperone or travel with us.

After further investigation, the threat discovered today was deemed not credible. The district will resume school tomorrow on a traditional daily schedule. Thank you for your patience and support while we worked to resolve this situation.
The soccer game scheduled for Alpena tonight will still take place at 7:00.

We will be dismissing students early today(9/23). The middle/high school will release at 2:20 and elementary at 2:30.

Middle school basketball added a pair of wins to their record last night against Roger'sCity. 7th grade won 29-17, and 8th grade won 41-20.
The outside track will be getting repainted tomorrow, Saturday the 21st. It will be available for use again on Sunday. Sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.
Varsity and Middle School Cross Country teams competed in Oscoda today. We had 8 medallists. Be sure to congratulate them. Both Middle School teams had 1st place runners! David Sharboneau and Mercedes Codling.
The district will be hosting representatives for the state-sponsored Okay2Say program for all students Kindergarten through 12th grade. We will also be hosting an evening presentation for parents on the evening of the 19th in the auditorium at 7 pm. Okay2Say is a hotline facilitated by the attorney general for students to report a concern that is funneled to resources at the state level to get help to whoever needs it.
Marching Band Members: Please turn in your permission slip tomorrow either during school or bring it to practice at 4:00 pm. Any parents/guardians interested in chaperoning our trip Tuesday can sign the slip or email Ms. Pendergrass.
