Alcona staff members recently toured the 9 CTE programs at Alpena High School. Did you know Alcona students can take CTE classes at APS? During the tour staff practiced taking a radial pulse in the health care lab, flying a drone in the business & technology lab, and more!
Alcona HS students had the opportunity to network with professionals from TBNMS and NEMIGLSI. This career experience allowed students to learn about the opportunities available within each organization. Students were also able to tour TBNMS and learn more about Shipwreck Alley.
Due to illnesses, the JV/Varsity Girls basketball game scheduled for tomorrow in Mio has been rescheduled for February 28th in Mio.

Winterfest is Friday, February 7th!Assembly starts approximately 12:15 pm. Parents arrive no later than 12:00 pm to avoid student traffic. Dance begins after the game until 12:30 am. Price is $8.00 per person. Pictures available for purchase.

We have Alcona Wrestling 1st Varsity placer at a tournament. Noah Mercier took 1st in his division at Gaylord. All the kids got valuable mat time and won a couple matches. Jaycee and Slava
The Tigers take home another victory tonight beating the Tawas Braves 71-58!

JV fought hard all game but fell short to Tawas tonight with a score of 19-58.
