"A Mental Health Minute with Mrs. Marsh"
When feeling depressed or anxious, exercise often seems like the last thing you want to do. BUT once you get moving it will make a HUGE difference. Regular exercise helps release feel-good endorphins, taking your mind off your worries, gaining confidence, and most of all- coping in a healthy way.
Starting and sticking with an exercise routine or regular physical activity can be a challenge. I suggest starting with these steps:
1. What Physical Activities do you enjoy??
2. Set realistic goals for yourself.
3. Think of Physical Activity as a tool to help you feel better, instead of a chore.
4. Get out there and get moving! Grab a friend or family member (using social distancing guidelines for now...).
K-12 students, don’t forget about today’s pick-up from 4pm-6pm. All students will receive a bag and supplies. Paper instructional material will be available for all K-5 students and 6-12 students that requested packets. Thank you, Meijer for donating the 6-12 bags and supplies!
