As Michigan students return to school for a new year, access to affordable and reliable internet access is vital for their success. The Michigan Department of Education recently shared information about the emergency broadband benefit (EBB) program; which allows eligible households to enroll in an EBB discount of up to $50 per month towards broadband service. Eligible households can also receive a one-time discount of up to $100 to purchase a laptop, desktop computer, or tablet from participating providers if they contribute more than $10 and less than $50 towards the purchase price. The district is looking for a candidate to fill a full-time support staff position that would be trained and could work in the following areas on any given day: custodial, bus driving, paraprofessional support for students, and the kitchen.

Wednesday is a 1/2 student day with the afternoon being a professional development day for staff. 11:50 dismissal for 6th through 12th grade and noon dismissal for PK-5.

The Cross Country Team did well running at SVSU last Friday. Sara Decker placed 3rd for HS girls and Carter Upper placed 5th for HS boys. Both had a PR. The MS boys ran a nice race too with Darren Boyat placing 11th and Cole Upper taking 1st overall.
