Parent Notice: The Northeast Michigan Community Youth Advisory Council is looking for feedback from high school students about their perceived needs in the community in order to guide the council in awarding grants. Alcona 4th grade students visited Besser Museum to extend learning for their Biodiversity project in the school forest. Students immersed themselves in the planetarium's habitat movie and explored taxidermy of Michigan mammals and fish. They were treated to the trees of the nations display and even a roller coaster ride in the planetarium!
