Thanks to funding from the Walters Family Foundation, Waterford.org is bringing its school-readiness program, Waterford Upstart, to 4-year-old children in Alpena, Alcona, Montmorency, and Presque Isle counties starting in January 2022 at no cost to families. We are excited to participate in the MI Backpack COVID-19 Home Tests pilot program. The purpose of this pilot program is to understand whether sending at-home COVID-19 test kids home with children and families is an effective way to lessen the spread of COVID-19.
